Is there a law in New Mexico prohibiting someone below a certain age from buying and selling stocks?

I am a 13 year old in New Mexico, i am interested in the stock market, i have been watching a penny stock that fluxuates between 1 cent and 3 cents. I was just wondering if there was an age limit for the stock market.

Please give me an answer with proof of where you got your answer.

I have done alot of research and i know what to do, all I need to know if there a law that wont let me buy and sell with the stock market in NEW MEXICO. =]

    The agreement you make with a stock broker to buy and sell stocks, whether in person or on line, is a legally binding contract. As such, you must be 18 years old to enter into such an agreement. This is true no matter which state you’re in.
