Question by John: Can someone explains stocks to me?
My mom is giving me 1000$ for stocks and i want to know how exactly these things work. Whats a broker and what does he/she do? What is a penny stock and how can they be profitable. And how can i read a stocks rating so i know what to invest. Tell me everything about stocks please.

Oh and maybe the top 100 best stock companies out there.

Stocks which are traded for $5.00 or less than that per share over the counter (OTC) are known as penny stocks. People invest in these stocks because of their absolute low value. These are high risk investments. www.pennyinvest.com

Where or how can someone know how many shares a stock is transacted during the day till closing time. also how can you tell a stock has a limited amount of shares. I need details to my question, thanks.

I am a 13 year old in New Mexico, i am interested in the stock market, i have been watching a penny stock that fluxuates between 1 cent and 3 cents. I was just wondering if there was an age limit for the stock market.

Please give me an answer with proof of where you got your answer.

I have done alot of research and i know what to do, all I need to know if there a law that wont let me buy and sell with the stock market in NEW MEXICO. =]
